Our sitter profiles

Niamh is a delightful addition to The Care Necessities team. Currently studying Psychology at the University of Edinburgh, Niamh is available for ad-hoc babysitting and nanny cover. Niamh has previously been babysitting for several families, looking after children of all ages. She was responsible for collecting children from school, taking them to after school activities, supervising homework and preparing snacks and meals. During summer holidays, Niamh used to work for her local health club as a lifeguard. She would also help out during the children’s summer camps which were organised by the club.

In addition to this Niamh has also helped to look after her younger brother since he was born. Niamh is also First Aid trained. We can highly recommend her!

Isabel is currently studying Biomedical Sciences at Edinburgh University and is available for ad-hoc babysitting and nanny cover.

Isabel loves working with children and has a variety of experience in childcare. Isabel has worked as a Group Leader at Camp Beaumont, a day camp for children aged between 3 – 16 years old. Isabel started off as a group leader, working with different age group across 5-16 year olds each day, so being able to tailor activities and improvise. Across 3 summers she has now stepped into the Camp Director position. Isabel has also worked as a nanny for few different families. Additionally, she has completed a 12 month placement at an international boarding school in Malaysia. Whilst there, Isabel worked as a teacher assistant for the prep school and as a PE assistant for 13-14 year olds. We can highly recommend Isabel who is fun, reliable and responsible. She is also Paediatric First Aid trained.

Martha is a delightful addition to The Care Necessities team. Martha is currently studying History at The University of Edinburgh and available for babysitting and nanny cover. Martha has previously babysat for friends and family looking after children of all ages. This was mostly evenings but Martha also babysat during the day and overnight on some occasions.

Additionally, Martha has also volunteered in Nepal and Cambodia where she assisted children in the local school. She would organise educational games and do arts and crafts with the children.

Martha has also tutored children and teenagers in History and English. We can highly recommend Martha who is also Disclosure Scotland checked.

Anina is a delightful addition to The Care Necessities team. Anina is currently studying at The University of Edinburgh and available for ad hoc babysitting. Anina has previously worked as a children’s camp leader, organising different games and activities for over 50 children. She also assisted in preparing snacks and meals for the children and made sure everyone was well looked after throughout the day.

Anina has also babysat for a family with two children. She would also often stay with them overnight if the parents were away with work. Anina is comfortable looking after children from the age of 2 upwards.

Additonally, Anina has also tutored two children in Maths.

We can highly recommend Anina, she is enthusiastic and loves spending time with children!

Hannah is a delightful addition to The Care Necessities team. Hannah is currently studying towards Masters at The University of Edinburgh and available for ad hoc babysitting.

She has previously worked as an English language teacher in Italy and China. She has also worked as a private tutor for a 2-year-old child. This involved learning through play and various different games. Additionally, Hannah has also worked as a babysitter for friends and family, looking after children from the age of two upwards. Hannah was also a young leader at Scouts and Beavers when she was in school.

We can highly recommend Hannah- she loves spending time with children and organising different games and activities for them.
